Apparatuses and methods for making and using a filter cloth assembly
are described. A filter cloth assembly can have a liquid permeable
filtering medium attached to a connector ring. The liquid permeable
filtering media separates at least one solid from at least one liquid
in a slurry. The filtering media has a feed hole formed therein
that allows passage of a slurry through the filter cloth. The connector
ring including a flange having an upper flange section and a lower
flange section. The lower flange section receives an edge of the
feed hole to connect the filtering media to the connector ring such
that the face of the filtering media is substantially flush with
the upper flange section.
A system of sludge dewatering is described. The system comprises
of a filter press, a sludge fee pipe, and acid feed pipe, and exhaust
pipe and a discharge pipe. The sludge feed pipe is configured on
the filter press. The acid feed pipe is connected with the sludge
feed pipe. The exhaust pipe is connected with the sludge feed pipe.
The discharge pipe is configured on the filter press. The system
of the present invention can lead the acid solution into the filter
press by the acid feed pipe so as to use in situ way to proceed
filter cloth washing of the filter press.
The invention relates to a filter cloth for a filter, which has
a supporting surface, comprising a fixing area for attachment to
the filter and a filtration area for resting on the supporting surface.
In order to raise the filtration area from the supporting surface
an extensible fabric structure is provided at least in the filtration
area, with highly elastic monofilament threads being selectively
incorporated into the fabric structure at least in the filtration
area in order to produce a defined amount of elasticity.
A filter cloth whose underside comprises substantially parallel,
additional yarns 8 that are thicker than the rest of the yarns of
the cloth, substantially parallel channels 9 being formed between
the yarns, wherein filtered liquid passed through the cloth is allowed
to flow in the direction of the surface of a filtering element 10
between the filtering portion of the cloth and the surface of the
element. The invention further relates to a filtering module manufactured
from the filter cloth of the invention.
