Water Cooler Patent

COMBINED WATER COOLER AND HOT BEVERAGE MAKER

A combined water cooler and hot beverage maker has a stand, a brewed beverage tank, a cold water compartment, and a dispenser actuator for dispensing cold water or brewed beverages. The tank includes a filter basket, a reservoir portion, and an outlet port. The reservoir portion is adapted to hold a brewed liquid, and the outlet port is positioned in substantially the bottom of the reservoir portion. The dispenser actuator is connected to the outlet port and to the cold water compartment and is biased to a closed position, but may be moved to an open position by a vessel for holding cold water or a hot beverage.

Method and apparatus for operating a water cooler

A method for operating a water cooler, wherein the water cooler includes a cooling system, a storage compartment assembly, a water dispenser assembly, and a climate control assembly including a thermostat and a control capillary, includes coupling the control capillary to the thermostat, and coupling the thermostat to the cooling system such that the thermostat controls the operational state of the cooling system. The method includes positioning the control capillary adjacent each of the storage compartment assembly and the water dispenser assembly, determining the temperature of the storage compartment assembly and the water dispenser assembly using the control capillary, and cooling the storage compartment assembly and the water dispenser assembly using the cooling system.

Solar water cooler

The present invention discloses a solar water cooler, which includes a water tank, a condensing panel, and an auxiliary refrigerating devices, wherein the water tank has an insulating panel transversely embedded into the water tank for separating the water tank into an upper cooling chamber and a lower chilling chamber, a pair of inner conduits for respectively communicating the cooling chamber to the chilling chamber, each of the cooling chamber and the chilling chamber has a water inlet port and a water outlet port, a plurality of conduits for respectively communicating the water tank to the condensing panel and the auxiliary refrigerating devices, wherein the auxiliary refrigerating device electrically powered by solar cells and by thermocells.

Combined water cooler and refrigerator unit

A combination water cooler and refrigerator unit is provided including a lower cabinet defining a refrigerated compartment, and an upper water reservoir for receiving a supply of water from a water source, such as an inverted water bottle. A refrigeration system mounted within the cabinet includes a chiller coil having a first segment for chilling the refrigerated compartment, and a second segment for chilling water within the water reservoir. In addition, a lower end of the water reservoir is positioned in heat transfer relation with an upper region of the refrigerated compartment, and a single thermostatic temperature control sensor is mounted within the refrigerated compartment for regulating the refrigeration system for substantially eliminating risk of reservoir or refrigerator freeze up.
